About FCS, .IEX and .IET data files

There are three different file types associated with ForeCyt: FCS, .IEX and .IET. FCS, Flow Cytometer Standard, is an industry standard data file format for reading and writing data output by most flow cytometers. The .IEX is a ForeCyt file format developed by IntelliCyt to export an experiment in its entirety including plates, FCS data, and all other data that is part of the experiment. IET files are template files that are a format similar to IEX files however, they do not include any FCS data or Panorama data, if the experiment had Panorama data.
