Moving a Gate Label

ForeCyt puts the gate label directly on top of the gated area. This can be annoying when it obscures something you want to see. To move the gate label to the side, (as shown in the following GIF) click on the gate while pressing the shift key. Click-shift allows you to drag the label to another location.
