Set Abbreviation

Set Abbreviation displays the abbreviation for each type on the well. Set Abbreviation is not saved as part of the experiment. To re-enable the Abbreviation display after the experiment is reopened you must manually enable it again.

 

Set Abbreviation-Well Type

You can see the Well Type as shown in the following screenshot in which the Sample, Positive and Negative Controls are annotated.

 

Set Abbreviation-Compound

You can see the abbreviations of the compounds in your experiment as shown in the following screenshot.

 

 

Set Abbreviation-Compensation

If you have Compensation wells in your experiment, you can view the labels as shown in the following screenshot. These abbreviations are at the Well Type layer.
