Webinar: Identification of Novel Immunoregulators Using High Throughput Phenotypic Screening
June 07, 2016 : WebEx 8:00 am - 9:00 am PST
Autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis or multiple sclerosis are characterized by strong and chronic inflammation leading to cartilage or tissue destruction. Under such aberrant conditions, immune control mechanisms like regulatory T cells (Tregs) or anti-inflammatory cytokines that normally limit self-reactive responses are overrun by effector cells secreting pro-inflammatory cytokines.
In order to develop novel therapeutic approaches that can help reconstitute the immunological balance during unwanted immune reactions, researchers at German Rheumatism Research Center are looking for novel modulators that support immuno-regulatory components like Tregs and/or cells producing regulatory cytokines like IL-10.
This webinar will overview:
- How IntelliCyt products helped identify immunomodulatory agents through a high throughput, high content screen of a large library of compounds
- The unique ability of ForeCyt Software to quickly identify hits by combining multiple assay outcomes together
